On September 26, 2013, Hanoi of Vietnam Corporate Governance (VACD) held the Congress Plenary II (period 2013-2018 ) to summarize the performance of the first term, to vote for the second term and to put the aims for: a better governance for each individual business of its members and for the business community in Vietnam.
VACD was established in 2007 with the aim of gathering, uniting the corporate governance and organizing activities in the field of corporate governance in order to build a better management for each business opportunity and for the business community of Vietnam. At the meeting, delegates have discussed, shared enthusiasm, wisdom and experiences to the administrator wishes to contribute more to the business community and to the economic development of Vietnam
The Conference was attended by more than 200 representative members including General Directors, CEO, Directors of businesses and representatives of state agencies, of universities and of research institutes across the country. Association of Corporate Governance Vietnam has elected a new executive committee, which includes Dr. Han Manh Tien, Director of the Research Institute of Management Training, who was elected to continue the position of the chairman, Dr. Tran Manh Hung, General Director of METCO JSC, as a Member of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee for the second term (2013-2018). The Congress of the Vietnam Corporate Governance has been organised successfully.
METCO would like to send its best compliments and congratulations to all Vietnam businesses with the wishes for their stability, wisdom and business performance in the actual volatile and challenging global economic environment in general and in Vietnam conditions in particular.
