- At Metco headquarter at about 9 AM, August 24, 2011, Vietnam Petroleum Association (VPA) had handed over an official membership certification for Metco. This certified that Metco became an official member of Vietnam Petroleum Association.

- At this ceremony, Mr. Ngo Truong Son, VPA president, on behalf of Vietnam Petroleum Association had a welcome speech to Metco as a 24^th team member of VPA. From this date, Metco has full rights and obligations of an official member of VPA. He also gave compliments to Metco and wished that Metco as a new member of VPA would progressively integrated and involved in activities of the association and contributed its part in development of VPA.

- On behalf of Metco team, Dr. Tran Manh Hung, General Director, thanked to VPA managing board and promised to commit all Metco rights and obligations as stipulated in the VPA act of activity. Metco wishes to be a part of the VPA and will make its own contribution in the development of Vietnam Petroleum Association, and promotion of Vietnam oil field blasting services in particular.
